Solana Spaces opened its first physical retail and educational space dedicated to Web3. Located in the Hudson Yards shopping mall in New York City, this space has launched in collaboration with many partners including Magic Eden, Phantom wallet, Degenerate Ape Academy, STEPN, and Blanksoles.
With the goal of introducing Solana to a wider audience, these spaces are designed for newcomers to Solana and Web3. Visitors will be able to participate in tutorials to earn NFT badges and other rewards that can be exchanged for USDC and visitors will receive their first NFT for free after setting up their Phantom wallet in the space.
Built with help from partners Solscan and Solana Beach, the space includes an interactive art installation with real time visualizations of the most interesting transactions happening on Solana. Each season, a new Solana NFT collection will be featured with the inaugural collection being Degenerate Ape Academy. The space contains displays of the Degen Ape art and merch available to purchase in store, with discounts to visitors who use Solana Pay as their payment method. The featured collections along with the tutorials will be rotating every month with new limited drops and products so stay tuned!
